Dr. Norma González is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing psychological services. Licensed in Puerto Rico since 1994 and Florida since 2020, she brings extensive clinical depth to her work with adults experiencing trauma and PTSD.
Through her career, Dr. González has worked in pediatric hospital settings, military environments supporting service members returning from deployment, geriatric facilities, and psychological assessment services. These diverse experiences shaped a comprehensive understanding of trauma across the lifespan.
Today, through Return to You Psychology, Dr. González focuses exclusively on adult trauma and PTSD treatment. Her approach is structured, evidence-based, and collaborative, integrating TF-CBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and supportive therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs. She provides bilingual virtual services to adults ages 18 to 64 in Florida and Puerto Rico, in English and Spanish.
